Presents Coordinator Religious Education Certification to Paula Kroll
The Certificate of Studies for a Catechetical Coordinator is offered collaboratively with the Archdiocesan Office for Catechesis and Youth Ministry, the Archdiocesan Office of Catholic Schools and the University of St. Mary of the Lake/ Mundelein Seminary. It is designed to provide the theological, catechetical and ministerial content and skills for effective ministry as Catechetical Leaders. Through this certificate of studies, Paula is able to meet the requirements for Archdiocesan Certification for the roles of Coordinator of Religious Education, Principal as Catholic School of Religious Education, Parish and Catholic High School Coordinators of Youth Ministry and Coordinators of Adult Faith Formation in the Archdiocese of Chicago.
Paula is the New Evangelization and Liturgy Coordinator of our Parish. This certification will enable our Parish to grow and follow the New Evangelization process mandated by the Chicago Archdiocese. We will look to Paula’s leadership to grow our parish community.
Some of the ways Paula will minster to us is through Evangelization, which calls each of us to deepen our faith, believe in the Gospel message, and go make disciples. Paula’s ministry will bring us closer to God. We started during Lent with presenting the Chosen. The Chosen will be presented this summer by continuing to learn the life of Jesus Christ as we continue our journey of discipleship.
Over the next four weeks Paula will take us through the 4-Parts of the Mass so we learn to grow in participation in Sunday Mass.
I invite you to join her in this journey as she forms committees within our Parish family to bring us closer to Jesus Christ.

When I asked Paula what this journey meant to her, she told me through this journey she is “less of herself and more in Christ.”
